People are flying in from all over the United States for this one, and I get to teach it right in our own backyard.
Art & Soul Retreat is a gathering unlike any other, a few days set aside just for creativity, connection, and slowing down. It happens in a handful of places around the world, including Italy and the East Coast, and this September it's coming to Portland, Oregon.
Artists and instructors from all over are gathering here, and so are the people who travel to learn from them, some booking flights and making the trip on their own, just to be part of it. For our local community here in Portland and Vancouver, this is a rare chance to experience something people usually travel across the country for. You can either join the group and book a few nights at the hotel, or just register for the workshops you want to join.
Why This Retreat Matters to Me
When I first heard the name Art & Soul, something in me stirred. I talked with the coordinator and heard her heart behind it, and realized how deeply it aligns with mine.
Art has always been my way of connecting to people's souls, of helping them slow down and feel seen. That's exactly what this retreat is built around, and being invited to teach alongside such high caliber artists is an honor I don't take lightly.
If you've been wanting a reason to give yourself space to create, to breathe, to reconnect with something deeper, this is it.

Chasing Waterfalls | Acrylic Palette Knife Workshop (2-Part)Monday & Tuesday, September 14–15 | 6:30–9:30pm The first time I'm ever offering this workshop, and I couldn't be more excited.
